Create your business on Lola

On the sign-in screen, click Sign up. Enter your name, the email you’ll use to sign in to Lola, and a password.

The password needs at least 8 characters, a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter, a number and a special character, with no character repeated more than twice in a row. The screen checks off each rule as you type. Click Continue to move on to registering your business.

You land on Business registration. In the search field, type your business’s name: from 3 letters on, matches from Google appear. Click yours and Lola brings in the name and category from its listing.

At the top you can see which email you signed in with. If it’s the wrong one, click Sign out and sign in with the other. Until your account has a business, the dashboard always brings you back to this screen, so that button is your way out.

If the search can’t find your business, click the Can’t find your business? link under the search field and paste a Google Maps link. The field’s help shows how to get it:

1. Open Google Maps.
2. Search for your business by name.
3. Tap the Share button.
4. Copy the link and paste it into Google Maps link.

It has to be the link Share gives you, the one that starts with maps.app.goo.gl; the address from your browser bar won’t work. Click Continue to load the place, or Search by name to go back to the search.

Once you pick the place, Tell us about your business appears with the name and category from Google. Fix them if needed: the name is how customers see you on Lola, and both are required.

Picked the wrong place? Click Change business at the top to go back to the search without creating anything.

Under Customize how your clients see you, click Add logo. The logo is required: without it, Continue stays disabled. Use a PNG or JPG of at least 200 × 200 px; if it’s larger than 1200 px, Lola scales it down.

Click Continue. You’ll see Uploading your logo… while it uploads and your business is created.

Done: your business is created. The dashboard takes you to Loyalty Card with the editor open, because the card is the first thing your customers use. Create your loyalty card walks you through each field.

When you save it, Lola lets you know your loyalty program is live. Click Complete business profile to move on to your business details, or Later to stay on the card.
