Create a reward

For:OwnerAdmin2 min readAll plansUpdated Sep 28, 2026
The owner or an admin does this

As staff you can see the rewards catalog on the web dashboard, but you can't create or change rewards. Your part happens in the Lola Business app: you scan the customer's QR at the counter.

Rewards are the prizes in your catalog: the ones you put on each visit of your loyalty card and in your campaigns. Start from a template or from scratch, and edit or archive them when your offer changes.

When you're done, you'll be able to
  • Create a reward from a template or from scratch
  • Pick the right loyalty level, type and optional details
  • Edit a reward in your catalog
  • Archive a reward without breaking the campaigns that use it

Open Rewards

In the dashboard menu, click Rewards. At the top you’ll find Search Rewards, which searches by name, type or level, and the Add Reward button. Below, Templates suggests ready-made ideas and, at the bottom, the table shows your catalog.

Start from a template or from scratch

Click an idea in Templates and Create Reward opens with the name, type, level and categories already filled in, and sometimes the estimated value. At the top you can see which template you started from, for example Template: Free drink. Change anything you like before creating it.

The ideas mix suggestions for your business’s category with others that work for anyone. If you’d rather start with a blank form, use Add Reward.

Add value, stock and an image, then create it

The rest of the form is optional:

  • Availability: Estimated Value (Optional), what the reward is worth, and Stock Limit (Optional), if you only have a set amount.
  • Tracking: Cost to Business (Optional), what it costs you to give it, and the New Product switch.
  • Image (Optional): PNG or JPEG, at least 100×100 px. Larger images are resized to 1200×1200 px automatically.

Click Create Reward. You’ll see Reward created! and the reward shows up in your catalog, ready to put on your loyalty card.

Edit a reward

In the table, click Edit, the pencil on the row. Edit Reward opens with the same fields already filled in; you can also replace or remove the image there. Click Save Changes and you’ll see Reward updated!.

Archive what you no longer offer

Click Archive, the box at the end of the row, and confirm in Archive this reward?. The reward leaves your active catalog and no longer appears when you create new campaigns. Campaigns already using it keep working.

Before you go on

Archived rewards disappear from the table and the dashboard has no way to bring them back. If you only want to change a reward, use Edit.
