Launch your first campaign
A campaign is a promotion with a reward that your customers see in the Lola app: a seasonal discount, a birthday gift or a weekend flash deal. The wizard walks you through it in five steps.
- Create a campaign with the wizard, from objective to publishing
- Choose the reward, the audience and where it shows
- Pause, edit or archive your campaigns
Go one step at a time. Mark each one as you do it in the dashboard.
Open Campaigns
In the dashboard menu, click Campaigns. If you don’t have any yet, you’ll see Create your first campaign. Click Create Campaign and the wizard opens in a panel on the right, with five steps: Objective, Campaign, Reward, Audience and Review.
- Campaigns, in the menu
- Create Campaign
Campaigns are part of the Premium plan. On the Free plan, the menu marks Campaigns with a Premium tag and the page is locked with Campaigns are part of Premium and an Upgrade to Premium button.
Choose the objective
The first step asks what you want to achieve, for example Do you want your customers to come back more often? or Are you looking to attract new faces to your store?. Pick one and click Next: the wizard recommends the campaign type and audience that fit best.
If you already know what you want, click Create campaign manually and start without an objective.

Set the type, the text and the dates
Pick the campaign type from the ones we recommend for your objective. If you change your mind, click Change. Then fill in:
- Campaign title: required, up to 60 characters. It’s what customers read first.
- Campaign description: optional, up to 200 characters.
- Rules: required, up to 500 characters. For example: Valid Monday to Thursday. Can’t be combined with other offers.
- Campaign validity: the Start and End dates. The shortcuts Week, Month, Quarter, Semester and Year work out the end for you; Always on leaves it with no end date.

For a lightning deal, pick the flash type: it lasts 24, 48 or 72 hours at most. You can also start one from Home with Send Flash Promo.
Choose the reward
Under Select a reward you choose what the customer gets from the rewards in your catalog. If the one you need isn’t there, click Create new reward: you create it right there and it’s selected.
In Redemption limits you can set a Total available (for example, the first 100) and a maximum Per customer. Both are optional; leave them empty for no limit.

Choose the audience and where it shows
In Customer segment you choose who the campaign is for; the recommended segments come first. In Where it will appear you choose one spot in the app, such as the Home banner or the Coupons tab on your business page. Below, the In-app preview shows how it will look.
If you turn on Notify my members, they get a notice in the app when the campaign activates. It uses 1 credit from your monthly notices. Each segment and placement is explained in Choose your audience and where your campaign shows.

Review and publish
The Review step sums up the campaign, the reward and the audience; each part has Edit so you can go back and fix it. Click Publish campaign and confirm with Yes, publish. If it isn’t ready yet, Save draft keeps it without publishing.
Customers see the campaign in the Lola app, in the spot you chose, from the Visible from date. To use it, they open the promo, tap Redeem and show you a QR code, which you scan in the Lola Business app.

Pause, edit or archive
Your campaigns stay in the Campaigns table, with filters by status. In Visible in app, the switch pauses or reactivates each one. The pencil opens the wizard to edit it (the objective can’t change anymore) and Archive removes it from your list and from the app.

- Edit or archive
An archived campaign isn’t lost. Under the Archived filter, click Restore and it comes back to your list as paused.
A flash campaign lasts 72 hours at most: the wizard offers 24, 48 or 72 hours. If you need more time, pick another campaign type and use the validity shortcuts, like Week or Month.
